The beginning, hallelujah!
Die sympathische Band Lordi aus Finnland eroberte beim Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athen die Herzen der Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer. Mit dem gefühlvollen Schlager Hard Rock Hallelujah stürmten sie erstmals das Siegertreppchen für Finnland. Dies ließ in uns den Entschluss reifen, zum ESC 2007 nach Helsinki zu fahren. Aufgrund klimatischer Bedenken verschoben wir die Reise jedoch in den Juli. Dieser Entschluss war getragen von der Einsicht, dass das Land Finnland genug Anlass sei, um nach Finnland zu reisen.
